Hello lovelies!
I’ve been sitting with this reading for a while. Not because it was unclear, but because I wasn’t sure if I was ready to share it.
There were moments I talked myself out of posting it at all. Doubt crept in. That familiar voice that asks if we’re qualified enough, experienced enough, ready enough. But the longer I stayed with the cards and the message they were carrying, the clearer it became that this wasn’t something meant to stay private.
This reading is for those of us who hesitate at the edge of change. For those who second-guess the life they want, worry about how they’ll be perceived, or feel tired of standing still even when movement feels uncertain.
Don’t force the message to fit. If it doesn’t land right away, that doesn’t mean it isn’t for you. Just because the sun hasn’t risen for you yet doesn’t mean it never will. Trust your intuition. Trust your timing. Let your path reveal itself step by step.
So here’s to saying yes.
In this reading, there was no topic. No intention set beyond listening. Eight cards, drawn from the Ukiyo Tarot — a deck that speaks through motion, impermanence, and the feeling of standing inside a world already in the act of changing.

Starting the reading off we have the sun. This is the start of a new beginning, the sun illuminating the path in front. We are no longer walking in auto mode and can finally see where our steps are taking us.
Emerging from a forest — a place where we have been moving carefully, where shadows stretched long across the ground, where not everything could be trusted at first glance. In that forest, you learned endurance. You learned how to continue even when the direction wasn’t fully clear. You handled what came with grace. You steadily moved forward even when things got rough and giving up looked like the easier choice. As the sun rises behind us the shadows are gone and leave us with nothing left for us to hide behind. No more “maybe later” or “when I’m ready.” Because now from where you stand and where you are going — is visible.
Doing what needs to be done will be easier to complete as we leave the things that no longer serve us. But just because the path is free of obstacles doesn’t mean we need to start sprinting. This is a card of happiness and joy as much as it is a card of revelations. Take time and stop for a moment every so often and smell the flowers, listen to the birds chirp.
As we progress on our journey, we hear the music from the trumpet on the judgement card we are being pulled to what we are called to do. Coming right after the sun this card asks now that you can see clearly what are you going to do about it? If you choose to answer the call and follow the music – know that this isn’t going to be without its trials and tribulations. There will be times when people and things will tempt you off the path you are on, if you can resist and push forward up the steps you will reach the top and be in tune with your higher self.
Don’t linger any longer, this is the moment where hesitation gives way to decision. Plans form quickly. Words are spoken. Boundaries are drawn. A direction is chosen. The knight of swords inspires you to act — not someday when everything is perfect — but now. He is calling you to be the creator of your own future. Doing what you must do to achieve the goal in front of you. He is that little voice that says: I’m done waiting. I’m done circling the same questions. I know enough to begin. There is courage here, yes — but also clarity. The Knight of Swords is not reckless in this spread. He is responding to the Sun’s illumination and Judgement’s call. His actions are purposeful. Aligned. Chosen.
Because once the decision has been made, momentum takes over.
Things are going to be busy for you as you continue forward, do not slow down, even if you feel uncertain, you must continue to push forward. The eight of wands suggest that stopping now will only hinder your progress. To get the most out of this momentum make sure what you are doing aligns with your broader goals. Make sure to complete each task as they come so you won’t slow down later going back and trying to complete an old task.
Things are going well and you have managed to accomplish a lot and now the voices are trickling in and so do the questions. People and even our inner critique are going to question our decisions and the moves made to get this far.
The seven of wands – was bound to happen at some point, right? We knew when Judgement called out to us in the beginning that the climb was going to be hard… so this is only natural.
When we change too quickly people begin to think we are moving too fast (like we did with the eight of wands) and ask us to slow down. People don’t understand the choices you have made so they ask you to explain or to talk you out of your position. And let’s not get started on our biggest dissenter… ourselves. Once we start questioning ourselves it’s game over for most. Stand strong in your choice and don’t back down. You know that you are on the right path and that not everyone has to understand everything right away—and that is okay. Establish boundaries and protect them so no one, including yourself, may take you off the intended path you walk on.
A second wind takes over, the passion you once had when you started this journey is invigorated, you are ready to begin once again. The knight of wands is asking you to go from a defensive position (the 7 of wands) to a proactive state. He reminds you that clarity does not always come before movement. Sometimes it arrives because you dared to take the step first. So, walk your path with your head held high and without apology become an active participant in this journey.
Because you answered the call and dared to take that first step. Because you pushed forward even when times got hard you are at a point where you are no longer looking back behind you and are looking forward to the horizon seeing how much of the world that is left to explore. You are at a point where you get to decide how far you are willing to go. How large will you let your vison become? How much of yourself will you let yourself grow and unfold?
The two of wands returns us to a planning phase, not because we are hesitating but because we are taking into consideration our long-term goals. We take stock of resources. Of time. Of energy. Of opportunity. And you begin to shape the next chapter with intention.
There is quiet power here. Not rushed. Not reactive. But aware. You are no longer stumbling into your future. You are choosing it.
Once you have stepped onto your path.
Once you have answered the call.
Once you have chosen your horizon — the Wheel begins to turn.
The Wheel does not promise ease. It promises motion. Nothing remains fixed once you commit. Seasons shift. Doors open before you feel ready. Others close without explanation. What feels uncertain or misaligned now may reveal itself later as necessary — even precise. When you move in alignment with what you are meant to do, the world does not remove all obstacles. Instead, it responds. Circumstances rearrange. Timing accelerates. Encounters arrive with purpose. You are no longer forcing momentum — you are participating in it.
There will be surprises. There will be moments that ask for trust before clarity. Not everything will unfold the way you imagined, and that is not a failure. It is part of the agreement you made when you said yes.
You do not need to see every bend in the road to know you are moving forward. You only need to stay present, stay responsive, and stay honest with yourself as the current carries you onward.
The story is still unfolding.
The Wheel continues to turn.
And you are not lost within it — you are in motion.
Exactly where you are meant to be.
Tsui ❤
